ICI's, Brad Maltz and Tarun Singh, meet with EMC Executives, as Founding Members of the EMC CTO Partner Council.
November 9, 2007
International Computerware, Inc., an EMC Signature and VMware Premier Partner, was invited to be the founding members of EMC's CTO Partner Council held on November 7-8, 2007. This CTO Partner Council is made up of a select group of EMC Partners throughout North America to provide direct input, feedback and strategy on EMC solutions focusing on "customer value".
Brad Maltz, ICI's CTO, with his vast knowledge of EMC and VMware technologies, had this to say: "ICI's ability to interact directly with the leaders of each technology group was huge. EMC and VMware allowed us to speak about areas where there is room for improvement which was also key, however based on the Q&A we had and the conversations with some presenters, the direction EMC is taking makes me proud to say that we only partner with EMC. Over the next few quarters I have seen the dedication that EMC is making to integrate and unify internal technologies and that is a very strategic thinking move on EMC's behalf.
"EMC has once again stepped up and put the resources and Executive teams together in one room allowing the Channel community to address issues, to help solve problems and, in ICI's case, help build out new bundled solutions that will address the SMB market directly. EMC's "buy-in" into the CTO Partner Council goes right along with EMC's investments into the EMC Partner Advisory Board, which ICI is a member of, says Jamie Shepard Vice President of Technology Solutions.
