The ICI Backup Assessment Service provides an analysis of components in your existing data center backup infrastructure. The ICI Backup Assessment Service is a custom offering designed to help you analyze your backup environment and assess the benefits of redesigning the backup architecture. It also introduces the concept of Backup-to-Disk solution to your organization and provides financial analysis and a procedural review of your backup environment and policies.
This assessment will focus on defining a strategy to bring the full and differential backups to a more manageable run time. The means will be determined following the assessment.
The ICI File System Assessment Service provides you the opportunity to have a non-intrusive Data Profiling discovery and assessment. The goal of the service is to provide a file-level analysis of pre-defined File Systems within your infrastructure. The Data Profiling assessment combines a consultative approach and a data analysis of the selected system's using EMC's Visual SRM as an analysis tool will take approximately 1-2 hours and will scan 1-2 terabytes of data. The final report provides a summary of findings and provides the detailed data generated from the analysis to support the findings.
The Data Profilling Assessment can run over a period of one week, with data gathering, followed by data consolidation, data analysis, and report development. |
